Working in Confined Spaces
Working in confined spaces is inherently dangerous.
You need to learn how to enter, exit, and work in risky confined spaces.
Due to its risks and hazards, the work must be carried out by a qualified team comprised of:
• The Entrant: who is authorized to enter the confined space.
• The Attendant: who provides support and carries out his duties outside the confined space
• The Entry Supervisor: who determines the acceptable entry conditions, authorizes the entry, oversees entry operations, terminates the entry, and cancels the entry permit.
Ascending training will ensure each team member understands and performs their respective duties to maintain a high degree of safety.
This course will also ensure that the team knows how to respond quickly and appropriately to the various hazards in a dangerous confined space - including how to escape and carry out a rescue operation in a safe manner.
