The Ascending Way

Good things happen when a group of workers joins forces, buys a piece of the company they work for and starts something new together.

That’s how Ascending started. The year was 2017. The group of people was our founders: Andrew Schnitzer da Silva and Nuno Teves, They got together to acquire Adcorp’s interests in Angola and Mozambique, and use their 15 years of experience to start Ascending.

Ascending is an HR specialist group that focus on optimized workforce solutions and internationally recognized technical training.

We have a proven track of record providing blue and white collar profiles for various offshore and onshore industries.
We built, manage, and operate 3 unique and certified training facilities in Mozambique – and we are the first ECITB Certified Training Institution in the country.
We frequently deliver training programs in a variety of technical trades, areas and soft skills.
We proudly promote Angolanization and Gender Equality: more than 90% of the employees we provide are Angolan and 35% of our trainees are Women.
We identify innovative forms of collaboration to better understand our clients’ needs and adapt our offerings to create higher value.

    As the African saying goes: travel alone to go fast, travel together to go far. At Ascending we embrace teamwork, partnerships, and cooperation with organizations that, like us, want to reach further. Meet our travel companions:

    Partnership with Public Institution for Professional Training under an official Memorandum of Agreement. Enabled Ascending to develop training activities that uplift local populations. His Excellency the President of the Republic Filipe Jacinto Nyusi inaugurated our Pemba training center, in 2016.

    Partnership with Placements International: a Solid Australian Service Provider to the Oil and Gas Sector. They add expertise, knowledge, and international clout to our local approach.
