The RSES-D onboard is responsible to ensure the Flotel accommodation availability, workshops and marine operation are operated in a safe and efficient manner. He / She is nominated by Client General Manager and remains informed by Master about onboard emergency.
He / She will report any situation to FPSO OIM/RSES and is the link between FPSO OIM/RSES and Flotel Master.
His duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Ensure correct reporting of data relative to POB, Accommodation and ensure Flotel ERT availability and emergency systems are operated efficiently,
- He / She shall take on the emergency role of POB Muster Control and will ensure the consolidation of musters in a timely and efficient manner,
- He / she shall directly contact the Client Duty Manager or ICP if Flotel is outside of 500 m zone,
- Inside of 500 m zone RSES-D contacts FPSO OIM/RSES.
